The following are real comments that were said by real people in GameSpy Tunnel. They are NOT fake. The following comments are reproduced just as they were written to us. Some are direct comments on us and others aren't exactly about us (maybe something we did), but ALL the data on the following table is accurate (dates, scores, etc), but you may notice that the data gets more detailed at a certain point. This is because we didn't really know what we we're doing when we started this and failed to include scores of games that they didn't comment after or neglected to say how many people were in the match. We've also had other comments (such as: -you waxed our asses), but those were before we started writing them down, so you will only find comments that have been accurately written down when they were said. Call us liars, but we know the truth.
Note: For almost all of these games we hosted, but there were games where we didn't (but I think we forgot to say which). Also no one complained about lag (if they did, we mentioned it). Check out our Modes section to see how we play (our rules). Also note that we never said anything to provoke any of the comments that you see.
The following is called stepping up to someone who talks shit about you:
By clicking on the picture to the right you can follow a conversation (pt1 and pt2), between us and sneak425. Normally, we wouldn't take pictures because its just too much work overall, but we decided to do it this time.
The basic breakdown is as follows:
We played a game on their host and lost (cause of bad lag).
We challenged them to the same match, except with us as host.
They talked some shit and we ended up in another match with them hosting.
We bitched them on their own host by shutting them out in a CTF match that had lag (note the last line).
Yet another person who doesn't like us:

An interesting converastion on GameSpy:
Someone named Larcen messaged us out of no where on 1/8/03 and started talking to us. The following are only the lines we have decided to show (but there were others [just like all comments]):

It should be noted that we found out that the "kid" that told Larcen about how good we were, had never actually played us (so he says). We played them on our host and rules 2vs2 (don't remember who played against them) to 5 captures on HEH. We beat then 5-0. We then played with their crap rules (bad rules + lag = not good) and we lost 3-1. I remember that we beat them quite easily on our host, while they struggled more to win on their host. They did say something after the matches:

Didn't post this until now, but its a great example of proof that every comment here is the truth. The following was taken from the news on HBO where they mentioned our write up of the NYC Halo LAN Fest. Click here to see it or just read the excerpts below:

Ok, we know we've been posting a lot of comments from Miguel Chavez, but he's one of the few people we've played in a LAN match with, so bear with us. The following is an email we received from him. We'll let it speak for itself:
"Listen, I'm sure you're all busy training for the tourney, but I have a proposition for you... these guys that I've met a few times over here at Kings Games... there are a group of them that are so full of themselves... they need a good ass-kicking :) I was wondering if you guys would be into coming over and checking it out and maybe I can witness you guys take them on and show them how it's done. :) They really good, but it's mainly cause they play the same damn game over and over again... always team slayer, or iron ctf or something like that. And when they win, they just pick the same game over and over again. It's tough to beat them with just rabble players, know what I mean? Even beyond teaching these guys a lesson, it would be cool to get together and play some rounds of Halo.
So what do you guys think? The game center store is just over the Verrazano over in Brooklyn.
